Dance Wear

Ashton Dance Supplies presents ASD Logo wear (all items are black with silver grey logo)

The jogging suits are ideal for travelling to and from classes and for keeping warm in the breaks between classes, in summer months many pupils find the tops warm enough to wear instead of a coat. The jogging suits are not to be worn in classes as they obstruct the teachers view of the dancers body therefore we would be unable to teach safely and effectively.

Any Pupil performing in shows such as The Willow Wood Hospice Gala or the Palace Theatre in May (this show is yet to be confirmed) will be required to have a hooded top, jogging pants and a T-Shirt to wear travelling to and from the theatre. This is not only to give the school a professional image, it is also to aid us in being able to spot A.S.D. Pupils easily as there will be many different schools performing at some of the shows which will help keep pupils safe and it will also save you money in the long run as we had expensive clothing items stolen from theatres before, but no one from another school is likely to want an A.S.D. jogging suit – where a Bench or Nike jumper would be far more appealing!. There are a number of garments available for purchase.

Delay with Warm-up wear catalogue

In the last newsletter I stated I was going to put together a catalogue containing all the items of warm-up wear you could purchase, this has been delayed due to several of the manufactures updating and changing their ranges.

Coming into spring there will not be the same demand for leg warmers and body warmers etc. But hopefully the range, and therefore the catalogue will be completed over the summer ready for the weather turning bad in the autumn
